Artist Profiles: Lindy Fairley

Lindy has been making jewellery for several years and admits it has become somewhat of a compulsive passion. 

Working mainly in semi precious gemstone and shell combined with .925 Sterling Silver. 

The initial inspiration came from her husband’s interest in Geology and working with stones which were millions of years in the making. Recently however using handmade glass as some of the commercially available beads can truly rival their natural counterparts for beauty.

Many of the designs have been created specifically for ease of wear and are self closing or magnetic which has proved very easy for those with less agile or arthritic fingers.

Over the past year a customised Bridal Service has been available offering a variety of styles in gemstone, Swarovski crystal and pearl in a wide range of colours.

Lindy's items are all fairly unique as are very rarely produced in any more than 5 pieces of the same design.

Lindy is available to provide commissions to complement special outfits.
