Primrose Hill
Primrose Hill Studio, Inverkip, on Scotlands west coast is a small home recording studio designed mainly for acoustic groups, instrumentalists and singer songwriters who have a musical project they would like to record in an informal and friendly atmosphere, without the pressures and costs normally associated with professional studios.
Various musicians have made use of the Primrose Hill studio facilities either to record albums for sale, demo discs for promotional purposes, or simply for their own personal use. Recordings for larger groups can also be made 'on location', as with the Southwest Texas Symphony Orchestra on their highly acclaimed UK tour. Primrose Hill Mobile Studio made recordings of the orchestra concerts in Greenock, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Ilkley, and produced a master CD for them from these recordings. Primrose Hill Studio is also 'home' to The Wherries Scottish Folk Band.
